Just finished watching Agatha Christie’s Poirot: The murder of Roger Ackroyd and just gotta say this – not only is the plot completely changed, but Poirot is such a tosser! apart from being in man-love bonds with Japp (who wasn’t even supposed to be in this novel).
The evidence as follows:
:O Man-joy at seeing his city friend
the awkward moment: Poirot can’t choose between a hug or kiss or BOTH
Alas, they settle at a handshake. Now only Hastings is needed to fill the void.
TRUE DIALOGUE: Poirot to Japp “Come chief inspector, let us investigate together the summer house”…. BARF
Claasic Japp: Haven’t they got any meat?
And Finally, because the killer (I wont mention his name here cause of spoilers) goes all James-Bond on them, Mr Japp thrusts his life to protect the P-man!
